Yenko Taxi is a web-based app; it communicates taxi service requests to the taxi service providers who have been registered as users of the Yenko Taxi system. The private limited company was founded in the Republic of Ghana, is the holder of rights and service provider of the Yenko Taxi app.

1. Using the Yenko Taxi app

1.1 The use of the Yenko Taxi app requires installation of the software and registration of a user account. During the installation of the Yenko Taxi app, the mobile number of the Yenko Taxi service user is linked to the respective user account and added to the database.
1.2 When using the Yenko Taxi app, the user can choose whether he/she wishes to pay in cash for the taxi service to the taxi driver or use Yenko Taxi wallet, credit or debit card or mobile money payment.
1.3 Any complaints can be sent to our support team via email support@yenkotaxi.com , by sending a whatsapp message only our support line +233241812270 or connecting via our various social media pages (available on workdays 08.30-17.30 GMT).


2. Yenko Taxi wallet, credit/ debit card and mobile payment conditions (available only in certain countries, please follow instructions on your local application)

2.1 The user of the Yenko Taxi app can pay for the taxi service with a credit /debit card payment, which requires the prior activation of the card data within the app and acceptance of Yenko Taxi terms and conditions.
2.2 Mobile money payments can be made by a user of the Yenko Taxi app who has concluded a mobile payment agreement.
2.3 Yenko Taxi shall be responsible for the functioning of credit card payments and offers card owners support in solving problems. The resolution of credit / debit cards and mobile money payment related disputes also takes place through the support services of Yenko Taxi. Inquiries submitted by e-mail shall receive a response within one business day. Yenko Taxi shall resolve all card and mobile money payment related complaints and applications within three business days.


3. Requesting or cancelling a taxi service

3.1 Requesting a ride can be done once the rider sees taxis nearby in his location and can call the taxi driver for confirmation or receive a call from the taxi driver.
3.2 In case of cancelling the taxi service after 5 minutes the Yenko Taxi app user has to pay GHC 5.00 as a penalty fee. In the event that the rider cancels a ride within 5 minutes of requesting a taxi then user does not have to pay the penalty fee.

4. Use of the Yenko Taxi app

4.1 Yenko Taxi is a mobile app enabling the persons requiring a taxi service to find a taxi driver by sharing data on their geographic location.
4.2. In case of any faults in the software, we shall endeavor to correct them as soon as possible, but please keep in mind that the functioning of the app may be restricted due to occasional technical errors and we are not able to guarantee unlimited faultless functioning of the app at all times. We shall also accept no liability for any losses incurred as a consequence of the Yenko Taxi app not functioning or not being usable in the desired manner.
4.3 If per customer’s complaint a refund needs to be issued it would be done in accordance per issue resolution.


5. By registering an account with Yenko Taxi, a taxi customer shall accept the following conditions

5.1 Yenko Taxi shall have the right to add the personal data of the app user to the Yenko Taxi database and to forward the personal data to taxi service providers in accordance with Yenko Taxi’s Privacy Policy.
5.2 Yenko Taxi shall have a right to make unilateral amendments to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. We shall notify the users of changes to Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
5.3 Yenko Taxi has the right to send marketing messages and authentication codes through SMS messages.


6. Good practice of using the Yenko Taxi app

6.1 Yenko Taxi is committed to contributing to improvement of the quality of taxi services. For this reason, we ask to fill out a feedback form in the Yenko Taxi app. This enables us to offer suggestions to the taxi service providers for improving the quality of their service.
6.2 We expect that the users of the Yenko Taxi app use the app in good faith and are respectful of the taxi drivers who offer their services Yenko Taxi app.
6.3 Yenko Taxi shall make every effort to ensure that only drivers, who have integrity and are respectful of their profession and customers, use the Yenko Taxi app. However, we are in no position to guarantee that every provider of taxi services, located via the Yenko Taxi app, satisfies the aforementioned criteria at all times. If you experience objectionable taxi service, please notify our support team.


7. Free rides referral campaign

7.1 A user can refer his friend or family member sending the referral code. The receiver will install the application and sign up using the sender code, once a receiver verified the OTP both sender and receiver gets free credits in their account. Those free credits will be automatically utilized in the next trip for both the parties.
7.2 Yenko Taxi has the right to void any discount codes and block rider accounts if it suspects any fraudulent activities and charge the rider for the damages caused.
